Study Programmes

Our faculty is composed of the study programs Medicine and Dentistry, both of which are completed with the state examination. We are also responsible for the master's degree programs in Toxicology, Translational Neuroscience and Molecular Biomedicine as well as further education master's degree programs in Endodontology and Public Health.

State Certified Programmes

Medicine

Our competency-based, interdisciplinary, practice-oriented, and profile-building model degree program combines proven and new concepts with the goal of optimally preparing students for the medical profession of tomorrow.

Dentistry

The study of dentistry in Düsseldorf imparts all the necessary skills for the independent practice of the dental profession. We place particular emphasis on early and continuous teaching of dental clinical aspects.

Master's degree programs

Toxikology

The master's degree program in "Toxicology" is designed to integrate knowledge from various disciplines. The program prepares students for work in research and development as well as for chemical safety assessment.

Translational Neurosciences

This English-language master's program aims to train highly qualified biomedical scientists to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Molecular Biomedicine

The goal of the two-year Master's program in Molecular Biomedicine is to train a new generation of biomedical scientists with an excellent education in an interdisciplinary environment.

Further Education Master's degree programs

Endodontology

The application-oriented master's program in Endodontology is part of the "Düsseldorf Dental Academy". The course is taught in German and is aimed at dentists with professional experience.

Public Health

Since 1991, the master's degree program in public health has trained experts who are able to identify and understand health problems at the population level and to develop and implement practical measures to solve them.
