Magnetic Resonance Imaging
The Core Facility for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI-CF) is an institution of the Medical Faculty of the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf and is operated by the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. The aim of the Core Facility is to provide MRI access to all interested parties from UKD and HHU, as well as external research groups, and to offer the best possible support for MRI-related research projects.
For this purpose, the Core Facility operates a state-of-the-art 3 Tesla MRI scanner (Siemens Magnetom Trio). This system enables a broad range of advanced imaging techniques for both basic and clinical research. The shared research infrastructure is available to all interested research groups and investigators at a rate of €150 per hour.
The Core Facility team provides expert support and guidance in study design, implementation, and data evaluation. Individual user training is offered to enable researchers to independently operate the MRI system for large-scale projects.
For inquiries regarding study planning or the use of the Core Facility, please contact Dr. Bechler.
