Models for the analysis of cardio-diabetes-crosstalk
S01 provides the methodological backbone of CRC1774 by developing, standardizing, and coordinating experimental models and analytical methods to study the complex interactions between type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Harmonized in vivo, ex vivo, and cellular models, together with close integration with S02 and INF, enable reproducible, comparable, and translationally relevant datasets across all projects. In addition, S01 advances novel experimental approaches, promotes the 3R principles, and provides standardized protocols, quality management, training, and certification for the entire CRC1774 consortium.
