Communicative competence is one of the eight competence areas of the Düsseldorf Curriculum Medicine. Through practical training with actor-patients, doctor-patient communication is specifically trained and simulated and reflected upon in a safe setting.
Courses
Students at HHU's Faculty of Medicine can take courses in the skills lab on a voluntary basis and learn important practical skills for everyday clinical work. The elective courses are offered by student tutors and are not part of the curricular teaching.
