Consulting and Support
The eLearning office medizin supports teachers and students of the Faculty of Medicine in the use of (online) media in teaching. We offer a range of services to support you in the implementation of your digitally supported and hybrid teaching/learning scenarios.
Our focus is on consulting, implementation and support of digitally supported teaching/learning processes. Our approach is characterized by a holistic perspective that takes into account technical, (media) didactic, professional and legal aspects.
Services
We are happy to advise you on various topics, such as....
- Realization of live events with MS Teams / Webex
- Development of learning modules with Articulate Storyline / ILIAS
- Implementation of (self-)assessments with ILIAS
- Project funding by the ELFF

A new, modern media platform will be available at HHU from October 2024. The new media library can be accessed via the internet address media.hhu.de.
The old media library can still be used for teaching until the end of the winter semester 2024/25 if you continue to use videos that have already been uploaded.
However, if you want to make new videos available, you must switch to the new media centre. Uploading videos to the old media library is only possible until 30 September.
What does this mean for you?
- To structure the media content, the eLearning office medizin provides subject-specific channels per block, e.g. TB01 - Physics, based on the video series in the old media centre. Previously known structuring features (categories) such as faculty and institution are unfortunately no longer available. Use tags as an alternative.
- The channels replace the video series in the old media centre.
- You can obtain the list of channels either from your block/teaching coordinator or from the eLearning office medizin.
- If you require additional channels, you can request them informally from us. It is also possible to rename existing channels.
- Contact us to become a moderator of a channel.
- It is possible to link to channels in ILIAS if required.
- The new media centre can also be used without channels.
- In our instructions, we explain how you can upload your media to the media centre yourself and assign them to the channels.
- In the instructions, please also note the special features when integrating videos, e.g. in ILIAS learning modules.
