Exam Management
In the Office of the Vice Dean for Teaching and Study Quality, the "Examination Coordination" is responsible for the legally compliant organization, implementation, further development, administration and documentation of examination matters within the framework of the Model Study Program in Medicine and Dentistry. In the area of paper-based examinations, subject-based examinations (e.g. final examinations of elective subjects) are also supervised in addition to the participant-strong, interdisciplinary final examinations of the study and subject blocks. Tablet-based exams are administered as tOSCE exams as part of the oral practical portion of the Medical Intermediate Examination. E-exams are in the project planning phase. The Item Management System (IMS), Examinator and tOSCE tools of the Umbrella Consortium for Assessment Networks (UCAN), the world's largest association of examination administrators, are used for the administration of examination questions, evaluation and compilation of test statistics.
