Through the Research Committee of the Faculty, projects are funded as a bridge to the first third-party funding application, cooperation projects and clinical research.
Funding
Research is one of the core tasks of university medicine. The Faculty of Medicine itself secures its funding from state funds with the help of various instruments. Third-party funding, in particular from the DFG, the federal government and the EU, as well as from foundations, create the financial basis for medical research with their diverse funding programmes, prizes and scholarships.
