The skills lab provides space for clinical practice sessions, peer-to-peer teaching formats, and interprofessional training. The skills lab team oversees and coordinates the content of many offerings and provides organizational support.
Skills Lab
The skills lab is a facility of the Faculty of Medicine available for use by all members of the faculty.
In the modern, extensively equipped premises, the clinical clerkship course in the first two years of study as well as the clinical-practical part of the intermediate medical examination take place. In addition, the training center can be used by our lecturers for teaching during the study and practice blocks. The team of the training center provides organizational support.
Overview
A major goal of the skills lab is to enhance the medical student's education in the areas of medical interviewing and the acquisition of clinical practice skills. In addition to the opportunity for free practice with a variety of equipment, the Training Center offers numerous voluntary courses supervised by student tutors and its own elective courses, which provide students with the opportunity to prepare for real clinical contexts in a relaxed atmosphere.
