Timetable information
The campus of the university is a small city in itself. Therefore, there are several bus and subway stations. A special offer for freshmen, but also for all other students, is the Rheinbahn campus map.
With the help of the Rheinbahn timetable information, you can find the fastest way to your destinatio.
Arrival by car
From the east
the university can be reached from the Hildener Kreuz (A 3 / A 46) via the Düsseldorf-Süd autobahn intersection (A 46). Take the A 46 to Düsseldorf-Uni / Zentrum. Then go straight on for about 1,000 meters and turn left into Moorenstraße (signposted to Uni-Klinik). It is then about 400 meters to the entrance to the clinic.
From the west
The A 46 and the A 57 meet at the Neuss-Süd intersection. After the Rhine bridge (Fleher Brücke) take the exit Bilk / Zentrum / Hafen / Benrath. At the exit, take a sharp right into Merowingerstraße (around the high-rise building) until you reach the roundabout; go all the way around here and turn into Uhlenbergstraße. Then drive straight on for about 300 meters until you reach Moorenstraße (entrance to the hospital).
From the city center
drive along Corneliusstraße and Witzelstraße (direction Wuppertal, A 46), then turn right onto Moorenstraße.
On the grounds of the University Hospital
Parking on the hospital grounds is subject to a fee. Visitors can park on the grounds as well as use the parking garage at the northern entrance or the large parking lot in the south of the grounds. Visitor parking is signposted with a blue P sign. Vehicles parked outside the signposted areas will unfortunately be towed away for a fee.
The ZOM II visitor parking lot in the center of the hospital grounds has a separate barrier. To access this parking lot, use the parking ticket pulled at the north or south entrance.
Arrival by plane
Düsseldorf Airport is one of the largest airports in Europe. The airport is directly connected to the main station by train (S-Bahn). From the main station the line 704 leads to the university hospital (Uni-Kliniken).
Alternatively, it is also possible to take the S-Bahn to the Bilk trainstation and then continue either with the U71/U73/U83 subway lines or with the 835/836 bus lines to the University Clinics (Uni-Kliniken) stop.
