The ZETT introduces itself

The Central Institution for Animal Research and Scientific Animal Protection (ZETT) arranges services for biomedical research at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

It has three main tasks:

  • ZETT accompanies scientists in their animal research projects.
  • At the same time, it protects the interests of animal welfare in the animal research projects of scientists at Heinrich Heine University. This includes species-appropriate husbandry and veterinary care.
  • In addition, it provides qualifications in the competent handling of animals.
