CUBI offers both standardized and project-specific analyses, with a focus on well-established bioinformatics software. This includes systems like Snakemake and Nextflow for clearly defined standard analyses (workflows) and scripting languages such as Python and R for custom solutions.

Upon request, CUBI can attempt to implement third-party published software on local infrastructure. Its core expertise lies in the comprehensive analysis of sequencing data - including short and long reads, as well as bulk, single-cell, and spatial data - in the fields of genomics, epigenomics, and transcriptomics. For other data types, projects may be accepted following an internal evaluation.

We strongly recommend consulting CUBI free of charge during the planning phase of new projects.

Please note that CUBI staff are subject to the general usage restrictions applicable to all IT systems on-site. As a result, CUBI cannot support projects requiring the operation of hardware or software infrastructure, nor does it provide research data management services.
