This advanced course deepens the acquired knowledge of the basic abdominal course and the course on color-coded duplex sonography, focusing on the various pathologies. The participants can expand and refine their practical skills in weekly one-hour observations in the ultrasound outpatient clinic of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Infectiology under medical supervision. In the afternoons, we then devote ourselves to deepening the theory in tutorials within the framework of lectures to be prepared and subsequent discussions.

Due to the medical 1-to-1 supervision in the practical application and the associated intensive expansion of one's own expertise, a rapid increase in competence and knowledge in the field of sonography is guaranteed.

Successful completion of abdominal sonography basic course and color-coded duplex sonography.
