In this course we offer students the opportunity to train direct ophthalmoscopy using a 3D retinal simulator. Using interdisciplinary and practical case vignettes, students learn the underlying technique with appropriate retinal findings. In small groups, we then discuss further diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the various clinical pictures. 

The seminar is supervised by ophthalmologists and interdisciplinarians in order to sensitize the students for a cooperative teamwork.
