Psychotherapist Institute for Outpatients at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf (PIA)

The psychotherapeutic offer is aimed at adults suffering from mental problems and disorders. Since only outpatient therapies are offered, we cannot treat patients with acute self-endangerment (suicide risk) and acute psychoses. Also excluded is the treatment of addictive disorders, which primarily require withdrawal or inpatient detoxification therapy.

Only cognitive-behavioral therapy treatments are offered.

  •     Sleep disorders
  •     Personality disorders
  •     Psychotic disorders in aftercare and relapse prevention
  •     Traumatization and trauma sequelae disorders
  •     Paruresis
