Catholic University Community (KHG)
The KHG - Catholic University Community - is an institution of the Catholic Church for the students and lecturers of the Düsseldorf universities. One of the services offered is open counseling in emergency situations, difficult life situations or personal problems regardless of religious or ethnic affiliation. The KHG also provides support in finding suitable offers of help and, in addition to offering advice, can also facilitate financial assistance.

The telephone counselling service is a nationwide organization run by the two major Christian churches in Germany. It provides anonymous, competent advice and is available around the clock.

Die psychologische Beratungsstelle für Ehe-, Familien- und Lebensfragen (EFL) stellt in Düsseldorf ein unentgeltliches Beratungsangebot für Menschen ab 18 Jahren zur Verfügung. Sie hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht bei persönlichen, partnerschaftlichen und familiären Problemen, Krisen und Konflikten beratend zur Seite zu stehen. Die Unterstützung ist offen für alle – unabhängig von Weltanschauung, Herkunft, Geschlecht, sexueller Orientierung und Konfession.
Die Beratung ist auch in englischer oder spanischer Sprache möglich.
