This hands-on interprofessional and interdisciplinary elective is dedicated to teaching a variety of physical therapy skills, examination and treatment techniques. Physical therapy skills are taught practically through exercises in an interprofessional learning format.

Preventive, diagnostic, curative/rehabilitative and palliative therapies are emphasized. In addition, the treatment goals of physical therapy as they relate to various treatment modalities are taught. The elective is conducted interprofessionally by tut:ers from the School of Physical Therapy and is supervised by interdisciplinary physicians.
