Diagnosis – PoL

starting 5th Semester

The core concept of this course is problem-oriented learning (POL) on selected clinical cases. We mainly look at clinical pictures with rather unspecific complaints and offer the participants the opportunity to work out a strategically meaningful diagnostic procedure in teamwork within the framework of a competition and to apply and expand existing knowledge on concrete cases. The winner is the team that arrives at the correct diagnosis in the most targeted manner. We conclude the playful competition with a brief discussion and resolution of the case in order to once again refresh disease-specific knowledge.
