This course focuses on the training of a guideline-compliant puncture technique and sterile work in compliance with hygiene regulations. The newly acquired knowledge can be deepened with practical assistance on special lumbar puncture models, supervised by competent tutors.

At the end of the course, each participant will be able to recognize indications and contraindications, to explain the patient independently and to perform a CSF puncture independently.
