Where do we Stand? Where do we Want to Go?

On Wednesday, 31.05.2017, the Faculty of Medicine invited teachers, students and staff to an exchange about teaching in the O.A.S.E.. The event focused on the recently adopted "Master Plan for Medical Studies 2020", and the question of what new challenges this poses for our faculty.
In this context, three lecturers were honored for their outstanding teaching with the Faculty Teaching Award:

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Andreas Vlachos
Institut für Anatomie II
Finally, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Decking, Prof. Dr. Wilm and Dr. Thomas Rotthoff presented the most important points of the "Masterplan Medizinstudium 2020" and related each of them to our model study program.
What has already been implemented with foresight? What challenges will the faculty still face in the future? The subsequent discussion provided space for detailed questions and critical comments.
Over tasty curry sausage, chicken skewers and french fries, the faculty, students and staff had the opportunity to further exchange ideas and engage in lively discussions.
The meeting was thus fully in line with our teaching mission statement and set the starting signal for a regular exchange within our faculty.
