Nutrition – Interprofessional, Interdisciplinary

starting 5th Semester

With this elective, we want to provide insights into the current state of nutrition science in a varied and interactive way. Interdisciplinary and interprofessional (with nutritionist and dietitian:in) different aspects of nutrition science will be taught and discussed.

  • Child nutrition
  • Nutrition in the prevention and therapy of cardiovascular diseases
  • Obesity & diabetes mellitus in children
  • Influence of nutrition on blood count and bone marrow
  • Nutrition and the influence on the environment
  • Vegetarian and vegan nutrition
  • Nutrition in the prevention and therapy of autoimmune diseases
  • Nutrition in gynecology
  • Celiac disease
  • Microbiome and CED
  • Nutrition in hospital
  • Nutrition and dermatology

Skills Lab electives are taken as part of the regular elective course load through HIS-LSF.
