Research infrastructure
Modern research infrastructures support the development of the profile of Düsseldorf University Medical Centre and are a decisive prerequisite for the appointment of excellent scientists.
These include:
- Service and technology platforms: Core Facilities, Biobanks etc.
- Research and technology platforms, e.g. the inter-faculty Biological-Medical Research Centre (BMFZ), a joint facility of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Heinrich Heine University.
- Information technology infrastructures, such as the Research Information System (FIS), which is currently being set up.
- Service facilities for translational and clinical research, such as the Coordination Centre for Clinical Studies (KKS)
